Lyndsay Reynolds

Lyndsay Reynolds was born and raised in Hancock County, West Virginia, and is originally from New Cumberland. She graduated from Oak Glen High School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from West Virginia University.

While attending WVU, Lyndsay interned with the Monongalia County Teen Court, where she helped lead the court’s mental-health program. That experience sparked her interest in the legal field and strengthened her appreciation for the role communication, advocacy, and understanding can play in helping people navigate the legal system.

Lyndsay serves as a Legal Assistant at Rosnick Law, where she works closely with Attorney Jacob Rosnick on criminal and civil matters. Her responsibilities include assisting with client intake, preparing legal documents and correspondence, organizing and maintaining case files, communicating with courts regarding filings and scheduling, and helping ensure cases move forward efficiently. She also assists during client meetings and handles the transcription of legal communications and proceedings while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.

Her background in psychology has given her a greater appreciation for the challenges many clients face throughout the legal process. She strives to approach each interaction with patience, professionalism, and respect while helping clients navigate what can often be a stressful time.

Working alongside Attorney Jacob Rosnick has given her the opportunity to learn from an attorney who is deeply committed to his clients and to the practice of law. His client-first approach has reinforced the importance of thorough preparation, responsiveness, and treating every client with respect and compassion. Alivia Rosnick is a lifelong West Virginian and a Juris Doctor recipient dedicated to serving individuals, children, and families across West Virginia. Once she is admitted to the West Virginia bar, her practice will focus on family law, domestic-violence proceedings, abuse and neglect, juvenile matters, and criminal defense.

Alivia earned her J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law, where she served as a student attorney in the General Litigation Clinic, earning more than 500 hours of clinical experience across West Virginia. Her clinical work focused on family law matters, civil litigation, domestic-violence proceedings, and a domestic-relations appeal to the Intermediate Court of Appeals of West Virginia. Throughout law school, she interned at Legal Aid of West Virginia and at the Monongalia County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in the Abuse and Neglect division. All of this experience has strengthened her competency, advocacy, and compassion for West Virginians.

Prior to entering the legal field, Alivia earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from West Virginia University, with a research focus on violence against women. Outside of the legal world, she enjoys reading, indoor cycling classes, and spending time with her mini-poodle.

Jacob Rosnick is a Weirton native and lifelong West Virginian who built his practice the hard way — in the courtroom, from day one. He earned his Finance degree from West Virginia University in 2021 and his Juris Doctor from WVU College of Law in 2024, where he competed in multiple trial-advocacy competitions and served in the Veterans Law Advocacy Clinic, helping veterans secure the disability benefits they had earned.

Most young lawyers wait years to see the inside of a courtroom. Jacob didn’t. The day after he was licensed, he was standing in front of a judge — and he kept going back, taking court-appointed cases in counties across West Virginia to get real reps as often as he could. That choice gave him what a résumé can’t: repeated, hands-on courtroom experience, and the judgment that only comes from being in the fight.

Two things drive how he practices: hard work and integrity. Jacob prepares every case like it’s going to trial, talks straight, and does right by the person in front of him — no games. He’s a genuine student of the craft, too; in his free time you’ll catch him studying the trials of the country’s most respected attorneys, always looking to get sharper. He’ll be the first to tell you the learning never stops. That commitment shows in his reputation: more than 70 five-star reviews from the people he’s represented.

Away from the office, Jacob coaches youth baseball, mentors young athletes, and trains in Muay Thai — the same discipline he brings to the law: put in the work, stay the course, and never back down.
